The exact date of manufacture and the maker is therefore unknown. However, it would have been produced in England in the early 1900s. The advantage of stainless steel is that it is much harder than silver and is able to maintain a sharper edge.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe action is nice and tight and the blade straight with the handle when open and flush when closed.
