Pair of Regency Ring-Neck Mallet Decanters, Circa 1825

A fine pair of Regency period mallet-form decanters dating to circa 1825. These elegant examples feature a distinctive horizontally ribbed body, ring-turned necks, broad disc collars, and original faceted globe stoppers.

The decanters embody the refined simplicity of early nineteenth-century glass design, with their restrained decoration relying on beautifully executed moulded ribbing and balanced proportions rather than heavy cutting.
