Description

An elegant pair of Irish Waterford crystal decanters dating to the Regency period, circa 1825. These finely proportioned decanters feature a classic panel-cut body rising from a star-cut base, with distinctive ring-turned shoulders and original faceted mushroom stoppers.

The restrained and architectural form is characteristic of early 19th century Waterford glass, reflecting the refinement and craftsmanship for which the Waterford factories became renowned. The deep vertical cutting beautifully catches and refracts the light, while the original stoppers complement the decanters' balanced proportions.

A desirable and increasingly scarce pair, ideal for displaying fine spirits or as a decorative feature in a period or contemporary interior.

A fine addition to a collection of Georgian or Regency glass and an attractive decorative accent for a bar, dining room, or library.
